TAYLOR IS SAFE

Turns out the Taylor is a girl, and named Luna. She's now safely back with her owner. The reunion was today. The owner came out with her 2 kids, her mom, Luna's favorite treats, and one of her own t-shirts with her scent on it. They walked along the trail across from Lamond calling her name and then walked up to the end of E. Taylor, still calling her name. On their way back down E. Taylor, Taylor/Luna popped her little head out of the woods just around the corner from 477. She stood in the ditch watching them & we asked them to get down on the ground...they were on the sidewalk, across the street. Her tail was tucked & she was hesitant at first, but only until
about half-way across the road - then she darted over to them & the owner
scooped her up. She was licking the kids and just so happy!

Here's a pic of Taylor/Luna before she was lost.

Potential owner contacted us!

We heard from a potential owner today--there's a chance that this person is Taylor's mom!

We're hoping that the potential owner will be able to come out to the sight soon and determine whether Taylor is their lost dog. If Taylor doesn't approach this person immediately, we're also hopeful that the potential owner will be able to take over most of the monitoring we've been doing, since many of the volunteers have been out every day for a week so that we could maintain 24-hour coverage.

Here are the monitoring slots to be filled for the three-day weekend--can you take a slot?

Lots and lots of sightings

We had sightings throughout the day, so we know where Taylor is most of the time. But we still suspect that he's being fed somewhere else . . . are you feeding him?

We also want to bring in a professional trapper, but we need funds to do that. Can you help by donating to bring this guy to safety?

Another sighting

Taylor was seen again around 2:30 am, and again at 3:00 am. He's about and about in the same general area!

We still need help flyering and monitoring the trap. If you can help, please get in touch!

Sunday update

Good news and bad today: Our volunteer saw Taylor at around 2:00 am, and we got reports that Taylor has been seen multiple times by a dog walker, but also by other folks on Lamond!

So we're going to check out Lamond and see if perhaps we should move operations there, also!

We need weekday AM and PM monitors for the trap--if you can help, please let us know!

Thanks!

Sighting!

Taylor was seen around 2:00 am this morning, hanging out in the street, kind of playfully running around.

We're in the right area! We still need to hear from anyone who sees Taylor or is feeding Taylor--and we need volunteers to monitor the trap during the work week.

Thanks!
